TERMS
Terms of Service
These terms describe the basic rules for using ESOS Inbox and related ESOS services provided by Ecommerce Signal.
In plain English
- Use only an ESOS account you are allowed to use, and keep your sign-in secure.
- When you connect email or another service, ESOS acts only within the permissions and features you enable.
- You keep the rights to your email, files, and other content.
- Automated results can sometimes be wrong, so important decisions still deserve a human review.
- Paid plans, cancellation terms, and billing details should be shown before you are charged.
The full terms below explain the details.
Your agreement with Ecommerce Signal
By creating or using an ESOS account, you agree to these terms and to policies that are expressly incorporated into them, including the current Privacy Policy where applicable.
Who may use ESOS
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement or use ESOS through an account that has been properly created or authorized for you. You may not use another person's account without permission.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Tell Ecommerce Signal promptly if you believe your ESOS account has been accessed without authorization.
Connected accounts
When you connect an email or other supported service, you authorize ESOS to access and act on that service only within the permissions and features you enable. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of the connected provider.
Email actions and automation
Features such as Review Email, Email Cleanup, rules, Watches, and automation may move, archive, mark as junk, place messages in Trash, or perform other supported actions when you approve or configure them. Preview-first features do not change mailbox contents until the required approval step occurs.
Your information and content
You keep the rights you already have in your email, files, account information, and other content. You give ESOS permission to process that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the services you choose to use.
ESOS software and intellectual property
ESOS, its software, design, branding, documentation, and related service materials are owned by Ecommerce Signal or its licensors unless stated otherwise. These terms do not transfer ownership of ESOS to you.
Subscriptions, billing, and taxes
If you choose a paid plan, the price, billing interval, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any applicable refund terms should be shown before purchase or in the billing area. You authorize the selected payment provider to process charges you approve. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
Third-party services
ESOS may connect with or depend on services operated by other companies, such as email providers and payment processors. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and ESOS cannot control their availability or independent actions.
Acceptable use
You may not use ESOS to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade security controls, distribute malicious code, abuse another person, violate applicable law, or use the service in a way that materially harms ESOS or other users.
Service changes and availability
ESOS is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed. Access may also be interrupted for maintenance, security, reliability, provider outages, or legal reasons.
Suspension, cancellation, and termination
You may stop using ESOS at any time, subject to any active subscription terms. Ecommerce Signal may limit or end access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, nonpayment, legal compliance, or a material violation of these terms.
What happens to information after an account ends
Some information may be deleted after an account ends, while other records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, billing, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or other lawful purposes. The Privacy Policy explains the general retention approach.
No guarantee of perfect results
ESOS is designed to reduce routine work and help organize information, but automated classifications, summaries, recommendations, and actions may sometimes be incomplete or incorrect. You should review important decisions and information when accuracy matters.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ecommerce Signal is not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party outages, unauthorized use outside its reasonable control, or decisions made without reviewing information that ESOS clearly presented for review. Any legally required rights or remedies remain unaffected.
Applicable law
These terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived in your jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned. Material changes may be communicated in ESOS or through another reasonable notice method, and renewed acceptance may be required before continued use of affected services.
Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to Ecommerce Signal through its published support or contact channels.
